Floating City - Let Down

Postby Sam Coupe » Sun Sep 25, 2011 1:21 pm

I have asked here and sent a PM to Lunesse asking for a summary of the floating city plotline to be explained since it ended but it has been ignored.

I think this is bad form. I and others invested a lot of time into the game which I and others went to efforts to solve puzzles and make connections etc but it has not been explained how everything weaved together. Thomas mention JJ Abrams as a clue before the game and now I know what he meant. Just like the TV show 'lost' the idea was to have a final conclusion and make stuff up as you went to string people along until it ran out of steam. That fair enough if you admit it but I would like to think that the game wasn't just a string of Red Herrings designed to keep people interested and that there was an underlying story.

If someone would like to step up and counter this then please go ahead, but outside of that I don't think I would participate in another game as it feels like it was a bit of a swizz with no real sustance to it.

If it's any consolation Sam, my question about signed copies of AMOTFC is going unanswered so far. Maybe we should pool our threads into one titled 'Let Down' with the Radiohead song of the same name playing in the background to get Lunesse's attention.

Consider it done...

A MESSAGE TO ALL...

All you Flat Earthers, the tired the weary, who are dragging your bruised bodies and minds across this wasteland called 'The Floating City', seeking refuge, seeking answers, seeking hope.
Look towards the west as we are the shining beacon, illuminating the darkest regions of this cursed land, bringing light to it's darkest corner. *

WEE SHAAALL RISEE AGAINNNN

----------

Too dramatic?
