Don't get the iTunes version - get the physical deluxe, it brings me so many happy memories of when a new album was a real thing to be enjoyed in it's own right, independently of the recording itself.

Is there going to be a deluxe version for the US iTunes store?

Is there going to be a US deluxe digital release that isn't the iTunes store?

Bumping this up the ole attention-o-meter

When the release was announced it was stated that both editions would be made available in the US.
That doesn't seem to be the case, unless ''being available'' means buying the 2 x cd as an import.

Will this be released as a 2 x cd in the US?
Will there be a digital release for the 2 x cd version in the states?

I'd like to know about a US digital release of the deluxe as well. Disappointing we haven't gotten an official response yet.

For some odd reason Canada's iTunes has both editions (where usually it's the USA that gets the 'special' stuff).

New tracks available for those who purchased mini EP's

Postby steplander » Fri Nov 25, 2011 4:42 am

Hello,
I seem to recall there being a mention about the possibility of a special deal for those who bought the two mini EP's. Are the extra handful of tracks being offered to the loyals as a separate offer?
Looking forward to finally having the complete album.

The silent response to all these questions I believe may be interpreted as ''NO."

Ha, I see the iTunes bio repeats that old "born in Cairo" claim. :)

I'm still very unclear on how many versions of this album exist so far. Is there a UK 2-disc vs. a US 2-disc? Very confusing.

So, still no word on a US iTunes release of the deluxe release? It really puzzles me why we can't get an answer one way or the other.
