Is that it?

Postby white city » Thu Mar 29, 2007 10:36 am

Hey, the podcasts were fantastic but what irked me a tad was that they came at the same time as all the other flood of activity. Now I know that this was all done to promote the DVD/CD and tour but for us poor cousins on this side of the Atlantic the strategic release of a podcast or two in the DRY spells between activity would be really very welcome.

Was there not talk of letting us here Karma this way.

That would be really appreciated by many mnay people.

thanks,
Jon

I would be interested in seeing Sway and May the Cube Be With You, and any other new ones that have come up recently. The stuff I've seen heard through radio interviews/podcasts etc. is the new Hot Sauce (which I heard at London, but good now I've got it permanently on the podcast), Your Karma Hit My Dogma and the new Airwaves. I beleive that just leaves MTCBWY and Sway, and did I read somewhere Hyperactive with a Key to Her Ferrari ending? and did I read that TD now has a new My Brain Is Like A Seive? not 100% sure what I've read, and I'm not 100% sure what of all the new versions/new songs I've heard.

I'm hoping TMDR releases some recordings from these most recent shows with the Jazz Mafia. That would include Sieve, Sway, Karma, etc. :) Keeping my fingers crossed.

 someone posted elsewhere about the possibility of a little podcast featuring something from the studio with TMDR and the lads working on the new release - isn't that a great idea? Any chance of it happening? :D

Hmm - consolidate things - keep the fans posted with happenings and then follow up on a complimentary CD / DVD that we can buy here - retro spective comments about albums / tracks - cheap for TMDR to do that keep our contributions flowing to him.

You know that we would like stuff that interests us - in addition to new material - how about an introspective release about any of the albums or the film work, I'd buy that and really appreciate it.

Podcast

I've been working on some Dolby songs for a while now as some of you know. I thought I might do some podcasts to explain how I created my renditions and show you how the songs were put together using much the same technology and software Thomas himself used for his Sole Inhabitant tours.

Any takers? If so any particular songs you would like to see inside? I thought I might start off with Flat Earth or Wreck of the Fairchild.

Cheers,
Andrew

I think most of us have seen how Thomas made Flat Earth on the SI DVD so it would be great to see how one of his early works gets built from scratch.

Great idea by the way, it gives more insight and gives a greater depth to the song when one listens to it again. Briliant.
