Well today the Factory Records anniversary box-set dropped through the letterbox via Amazon. This is the first physical music media I have bought for a while and I am well pleased with it.

There is some lovely stuff on here (with a small splattering of shite as well though )and the packaging is laaarvely! The book contains a passage about the recording of each track and shows the original artwork etc.

Very nicely done. I would recommend it!

Currently rocking away at work to Imogen Heap's first album, iMegaphone which is astoundingly good. 'Very different to the current recordings but a true gem.

I like picking up the early bits well after I have got an artist established in my head. It allows me to understand the musical progression much better than listening to them in order - at least for me!

I wonder if Alanis Morissette has heard it?
