Love & Money are reforming for a one-off gig...

Postby Jwyn » Tue Oct 19, 2010 4:39 am

Seem to recall there are a few James Grant / Love & Money fans in TFES.

Anyway, tickets went on sale today for a one-off gig at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on January 16th. James has reformed L&M (minus the sadly departed Bobby Paterson) to perform the albums 'Strange Kind of Love' and 'Dogs in the Traffic' in their entirety. Those familiar with the albums will know they are both 24 carat classics.

I didn't get to see L&M first time around, so am unfeasibly excited about this and have already bought my tickets.

For more information, including why James finally succumbed, visit: http://jamesgrantsongbook.com/category/journal/

Paul McGeechan, Douglas McIntyre and Gordon Wilson will all be there with Ewen Vernal (ex Deacon Blue) on bass and Monica Queen (ex Thrum) will be doing guest vocals, with Fraser Spiers on harmonica.
On a cold, black night, 'neath a starless sky, you come to me, my dear...
