He polarised people- you either love em or hate em judging from tributes on forums around the place...I'm definately in the former group. Admire the guy, and love the toys he has given the world! From the old Apple IIe I adored in the '80s to the ipod thrashed daily...I salute him.
And he was an early gaming man, at Atari with Woz he came up with Breakout...good stuff.

I'll say one thing for this guy (I know nothing about him) - something I've said to my kids for a long tim e - "you have to live your own life" - turns out this was in a speech he made.
Thanks to him for that.
