SO looking forward to hearing the Martyr's gig material. I couldn't be there, but my best friend was front and center for the show and raved about it...

Thanks for keeping us posted on the progress!

Hmm, CDBaby still has not yet informed me that they shipped anything at all... I wonder if there's a glitch. I'll email.

I e-mailed them on Friday, and never heard back anything. :(

Guess today I'll make a call, after 9.00 a.m. Pacific time, of course.

My copy arrived today! Number 128!!

Not bad for Ireland delivery.

Watching it really brings it all back. It's also great to see some performances we missed at the Scala gig.

Well done to all involved. :D

I emailed CD Baby yesterday to enquire about the signed cd copies. I got a reply saying the signed copies were NOT, in fact, shipping yet...

confused,

Same here, a polite young lady informed me they weren't there yet, but would be shipped as soon as they arrive.

It's getting a bit squeaky for them to get to the UK for Christmas, fingers very much crossed!

I received the autographed DVD yesterday from CD Baby....the invoice says the autographed CD is still pending. I'll settle for having the DVD in my hands for now!!!

Cheers -

I finally got a reply from CD Baby yesterday, to a question I'd sent last Friday, 1 December:

CD Baby wrote:Hi Phil,

I'm not quite sure what you are referring to. Are you asking if the CDs and DVDs are numbered? To my understanding they are not.

Thanks~
Julie

I'd asked if the CDs were shipping, and if since I was one of the first who ordered, if I had a low number reserved.

Sounds like they are not all on the same page over there.

I sent another message to them yesterday, but again –– no answer as of yet. :( :( :(

I got my DVD and CD last thursday I think. (My Step-dad ordered it) The DVD box was signed so I was happy. Then yesterday we played some old records like "Airhead's Revenge" and "May the cube be with you" It was awsome.
Wait wait, it will come to me...

CD Baby: Not on same page, can't even find the book! ;^)

Postby mizmusic » Mon Dec 11, 2006 12:29 pm

No, I'm kidding, I'm sure the folks at CD Baby are doing the best they can. :) I guess they're just not used to
selling this kind of volume. Suddenly hundreds of orders for the S.I. CD & DVD seem to have overwhelmed their resources.
Matter of fact, I just recieved my THIRD shipping notice today via email, complete with that whole charming spiel that begins,
"Your CDs have been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin
pillow." :) I have to give them a LOT of points for originality!! :D

Well, thanks to Lunesse, at least we know that the "otto" CDs are on their way, but my non-otto DVD is MIA! ;) Maybe hung up
at the border or something... :?:

Peace and little rivers of anticipation running through my mailbox, ;)

What is the sound of one hand clapping? A very soft

I just double checked and it was the DVD they were referring to. However, on their stock replies they always refer to a CD. You need to look at the actually listing within the email to determine whether it was a CD or DVD. Not sure about your case, they were notifiying some people who did both in same order that both the DVD and CD autographed were being shippied and that turned out not to be the case.. only the DVD was sent and the CD was backordered. I think the auto CDs just started shipping today based on other reports and that I ordered very early and just got the notice.

We will see :?

Got my notice from CD Baby that the autographed CD has shipped as of today. :)

Of course, no answer to my e-mailed question. :(

If anything is amiss, I'll be on the horn to them…

hey, since you asked!

ok, i had ordered another cd with the two dolbys (solovox, which is very cool, by the way, some great organ songs) and they said they had that but not the dolbys, and me expecting the si dvd and cd to come together, told them they didn't need to ship the solovox till they were here. well, i guess they took that to mean wait on the dvd until the cd comes in too. so when i emailed they said they'd send the dvd and the solovox, which i got late last week. (oh and an email from cdbaby that listed the cd as having shipped too, which it wasn't - weird!) anyway i expect the cd any day now (maybe today). because of this mixup i think i got a higher number (#250-something) but that's not important! unfortunately i haven't been able to watch it yet as i was on a work trip, no dvd player!

cdbaby's always been good to me, i think this is higher profile than many of their artists :)

GOT MINE THIS MORNING

Postby waybackcarlson » Fri Dec 15, 2006 10:20 pm

#94 or #99 (maybe the hand started to cramp)!

Seriously, thanks for giving the fans a way to get something really neat done by the Man himself. I had already downloaded the album from iTunes. It is awesome! Cheers to the Man, to Lunesse and the rest of the Lost Toy People. Here's hopes for many more to come and, if not, thanks for letting us bum a ride.

Nothing here yet... I got an email saying they were sent on 11th Dec, but as I chose the cheapskate option of slower delivery (I didn't think I was in a hurry), I'm not sure when I should really expect anything to arrive. I'm starting to get impatient though :)

I did regular delivery, and it came fine.

The bog of holiday shipping is likely the culprit. Things are running slow.

Maybe today…
