maybe not beauty sublime,
but here are some pics of my flat earth forum t shirt on tour in South Africa

signed in the blood of Zulus.........
this is Isandlwana - where 28,000 Zulus took on about 1800 British in January 1879
the white rocks represent buried soldiers

Image

- the few British who survived fled to Rourke's Drift
(Made famous in the Michael Caine film)
this is the monument to the Zulus who died there.

and finally, one for Thomas - somewhere in the middle of KwaZuluNatal - one lonely digger and palm tree!

Hi Snoopy

Luv the pics.

I think (and anyone can disagree with me) that it would be great to post these in 'The Pub' in the 'The Unofficial FES T Shirt' thread.

viewtopic.php?t=2603

Yes I know this is the correct section for pictures but 'The Pub' does get more views AND the T shirt thread has the link for acquiring a T shirt. Also every time someone posts the pics up it will keep the thread at the top of the heap, so giving new (and old) members a reminder that there is a FES T shirt.

Two other thoughts are:-

1. Perhaps Lunesse can move the whole thread from 'The Pub' to 'Paparazzi' forum. And/or

2. Why not make it 'Offical' rather than 'Unofficial' and put it in the 'Store' section?

Thoughts anyone?

found a couple more:

this is my friend who has lived in Johannesburg since 1988
we are at the monument built by the descendants of the original Dutch settlers

Image

and finally
I took this as we were leaving Ithala game park
note his little hitch hiker - I thought it was really cute!

That "cute" friend has a darker side. The Oxpecker picks parasites and bits of skin off it's host but mostly lives on blood from wounds that it deliberately keeps open. It's the bird equivalent of Simon Cowell.

Love the pic by the way. Giraffes have got to be one of my favourite animals.

Hey, Snoopy, brilliant pics, thank you for sharing. They have to contain the most exotic location for a FES T-shirt.

I agree with Wireless, lets make it "Official".
