Chaiten Volcano, southern Chile: clouds of ash and dust ionise/ionize the air, generating the lightning strikes.

I had a dream that a volcano erupted and I died. Anyone good at interpreting dreams? I had this dream last night where I was in a weird town but with all of my family. Suddenly, a volcano erupted and the streets started filling with lava, and we were looking for safe places to hide. We went into this store that was slightly elevated, hoping the lava wouldn't rise from street level and we'd be safe, but then a second eruption took place and the dream ended in all of us dying in lava.

Reminds me of a scene in the 1960 version of HG Wells "The Time Machine"... Death in a dream can't be good...lava red electrons...

Fantastic photo Michael, I didn't see it back in August.

Here's my take on your dreams bourmana. I would say that you have some suppressed feelings that you are afraid of. The "weird town" is a place inside you that feels foreign because it's not part of how you see yourself. You are afraid of the effect (represented by death) that the suppressed feelings may have on you and others should they ever be expressed (the erupting volcano). This doesn't necessarily mean that you have anything 'bad' going on inside, just that you have a fear of it.

Anyway, that's just my feeling about it, hope that's of some use.
Off grid.

That is possibly one of the most amazing pics I've ever seen! Saved as my wall paper.

Seriously!! What else could happen in that picture to make it better, other than maybe a monster crawling out of the volcano after!
