Ah thanks Merujo ;-)

All the above were shot with a (quite modest) Nikon D40 using it's standard kit lens. I also rely heavily on my trusty Canon EOS10D when something really important needs capturing.

Most of the time, waiting until the light is just right is more important than the camera itself I would say. Certainly in these days of generally very well specified cameras anyway.
